Tracy, has spent the last year telling anyone who'll watch that I stole from the Passenger while she was in the hospital with a broken back, and that I stole from her again to fly to France without her knowledge. That's not what happened. I will address part of these here and the rest as I have on my media platform.
I call her the Passenger because she lives in France, I live in Europe, and I have to be mindful of defamation law here, even though she, her family, my stalker, and you coordinated a public TikTok campaign that pulled in millions of views accusing me of exactly that, on top of a list of other accusations just as false.
Let's start with the accident. Yes, I was driving. She was in the back, unbuckled, by her own choice. When we hit the semi, I didn't think about myself. I found her, I dug her out, I stood over her while gasoline poured onto both of us. I stayed there for an hour, not moving, knowing the propane tanks could go at any second. After that, I put my entire life on hold for hers. When the hospital tried to discharge her four days after surgery, I fought to keep her there. When her insurance ran out, I fought again, and I'd like to think I'm a large part of why she got twenty extra days after they'd already told her four separate times she had to leave. Ten days after the crash, with no real options left, I found her a rehab facility, applied for a job so I could help pay for it, set up a spot for her next to me at the hotel I was staying in, and went to a local church to ask how to properly care for her. All of that, because she told me she wanted to stay in the US and heal instead of flying home right away. That's all it took for me to say yes. I burned through every dollar I had left on hotel rooms, turned down a six figure contract, and didn't sleep a full night for thirty days, because I'd promised her I'd take care of her and get her home to France once she was better. I kept that promise.
So when she invited me to France afterward and told me she'd help me get on my feet, I said yes. Of course I said yes. I packed up the little I had, put my dog on a plane, and flew there with her help, believing her when she said not to worry. I asked for nothing from her except the same follow-through I'd shown her for that entire month. I didn't hide the fact that I had almost nothing left financially and knew no one in the country.
A few weeks in, it became clear she wasn't going to connect me with fashion clients like she'd said. She didn't have the visa connections she'd claimed either, not unless I married her. The business funding she'd offered never materialized. In the beginning, I'll say this honestly, her family treated me well, and I was genuinely grateful. But I don't think they ever understood that I wasn't there for her, I was there to rebuild my life. I was on a ninety day visa. I didn't have time to sit and wait and do nothing, but that's what she wanted from me, to keep waiting, to keep staying in her RV. When kept asking if I liked it in our home, I told her the truth: no, this isn't our home, it's yours and I don't belong here. And the more she cried in front of her family, the more I could feel this weight like I was doing something wrong, but I wasn't. I just wanted to start over and yet at no time, did I get upset, I just kept taking every no she told me and burrowed deeper into myself as I took longer and longer walks to breathe. But instead of being the victim, I applied to jobs, researched my visa options, and wrote the business plan she'd originally asked for. Then I found out she was talking to Gary, your new friend. And I did the only sensible thing. I left.
The day I did, she demanded I sign a document written in French ( you know what that is like demanding someone sign something in the heat of the moment). And as she threatened me say I could not leave, her family called the police on me. And you know what happened next, because you participated. For the next year, you all took part in hunting me down, making my life as hard as possible, while burying the truth of what I actually did for her: that I never took advantage of her, never stole from her, never did anything but try to be a decent person through the worst months of both our lives.
Now, Tracy may not get the benefit of the doubt from me, because I no longer have to doubt who she is to me. But with passenger, I tried to give her the benefit every chance I could. What happened to her was traumatic and her life changed because of it, I understand that. And because of everything she did for me and everything she went through, I continued to be decent to her as I tried to tell myself it might have been the medication or a million other things. But that changed after watching the videos she made, reading what she wrote back when people were sending me death threats, and then witnessing in real time how she changed her LinkedIn name to cover up to attacking me, and and also using Garys tactics in sending a threat to my website. I do not know what it was about those last two things, but that was enough and I no longer have any doubt about who I think she is.
And even though I should hate her. She's the reason Seven and I made it to France in the first place. But once we got there, she's also the reason my life felt impossible as you all hunted me across France. Both of those things are true at once. I'm glad she's alive. I'm glad she's working, driving, living her life again, and some part of me is proud of her for that. But I will never forget what she did, how she did it, or who she did it with, the two of the worst people I have ever known.
But hey, if Tracy wants to continue to say the things as fact, well, thats on her reputation. Not mine.
